The Global Tote Lankan (Private) Limited is a subsidiary of The BetMakers Technology Group (ASX:BET) which has become a key technology solutions provider for the wagering industry globally. The Global Tote Lankan, was established in August 2017, with just six staff, as an IT service provider for the BetMakers Technology. Over the span of just a few years, the Global Tote Lankan team has expanded to 60+ staff as we cater to a growing list of international clients.
The Global Tote Lankan team is now an integral part of the BetMakers Technology, working closely with software development teams based across Australia, seeking to equip clients with the right technology solutions to solve their operational challenges. These solutions have become the foundation for companies to succeed in competitive environments and to achieve increased returns on their IT investments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated tests in web-based environment using an automation framework
- Investigate test results and identify issues/bugs and address them
- Report test execution results and escalate issues to relevant team
- Work on agile methodology and follow QA practices in the organization
- Work effectively with all the stakeholders (QA, Dev, Product) to find solutions and improvements
- Should be able to estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 5+ years of experience in software testing
- In depth understanding of Software life cycle. (development & testing)
- Experience in agile methodology, test plan and test case creation, defect management, test execution and other QA related activities
- Experience in JavaScript will be given preference
- In depth understanding and experience in Automation Framework Design
- Experience in Automated Testing Tools (e.g. Selenium/ Webdriverio / Cucumber)
- Experience in using JIRA, Test management tools would be an added advantage
- Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Better communication skill
- Client handling exposure would be an added advantage
